The common shot blasting process principle is to use the motor to drive the impeller body to rotate (direct connected motor or V-belt drive), and by the action of centrifugal force, throw the abrasives  to the workpiece surface, to clean the surface oxide or impurities, making the surface reach a certain roughness, and become more beautiful, or changing the welding tensile stress of the workpiece to compressive stress, so as to improve the service life of the workpiece. The main principle is that the abrasive in the center of the impeller is pre accelerated by the flow regulating block and impeller propeller by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the shot blasting angle is adjusted through the directional sleeve, the abrasive is sent to the blade, and then the abrasive is thrown out at high speed. The impeller is the heart of the shot blasting abrator  and is driven directly or indirectly by an electric motor. Each impeller can be equipped with 4 to 8 blades.

The blade of the blast wheel  is in direct contact with the abrasive, and its quality is closely related to the service life and working efficiency of the blast wheel. The wear resistance of the blade directly determines the service life of the blade and the operating cost of the shot blasting machine .
